Vega, Kjeldebotn, Skrova fyr and Frøset Østre Gård.

This summer we have visited some incredibly exotic places and met a lot of new audiences. Culture Prize winner and enthusiast Nils Gullsvåg invited us to Vega (14. and 15.7.) where we had a seminar with the young people and played a concert at Folkets Hus. Great atmosphere.

Then we went to Ernst Wiggo's home town of Kjeldebotn (17.7.), where Kaia Kafe set an audience record. It was totally packed and many people couldn't get in!! Thank you all so much.

From Kjeldebotn we went around the fjord towards Skrova, where a boat transport to Skrova lighthouse awaited. Here, multi-talented artist Frank Marstokk organized the Skrova Fyr Kulturfest festival (18.7.), with a full house and stormy cheers in Den Gyldne Oter bar. It doesn't get more exotic. This is a premium example of cultural value creation! We will remember this for as long as we live.

The summer season is not over, it will end with two concerts for "Spaserstokken" in Trondheim (25. and 26.8.) and Karbiscafé at Seminarplassen in Klæbu (5.9.), but before that we managed to visit Central Norway's finest stage, Frøset Østre Gård in beautiful Byneset. On August 15th we played for a listening and enthusiastic crowd, with long-distance guests, all the way from Australia. Many thanks to the hosts Kari, Lars Inge and Vegard Frøseth Fenes and all the audience members who made the trip.

And we managed to have a sporty walk up the Vega stairs! And thank you so much, Nils, and Vega Havhotell for a lovely 5-course dinner!!

Very touching that the locals and tourists show up the way they do. And to top it all off, the phenomenal Joakim Storfjell shows up and helps us with equipment.

There are only happy faces at Skrova Lighthouse. And the happiest of all is Eva-Mette Lundahl, volunteer and general manager of Lofoten Kulturhus!

In between the beats, SuperCharger Duo "borrowed" the drummer from the great Åge Aleksandersen and "Snöharpan", in Nidaros Cathedral - Olavsfest.

Next time we visit Frøset Østre Gård it will be a "dance concert" - an evening event. We are so much looking forward ...

Strandheimen Gjestehus, Øysand!!

We love small spaces, and on June 13th we visited Strandheimen Guesthouse on Øysand, where Wenche Gran runs a very nice place. We will be more than happy to return.

From intimate Strandheimen to an open-air dance concert: on Saturday, June 27th, we played a dance in the heart of Trondheim, under the direction of Dansheim. Fun!

SuperCharger Duo goes viral!

On June 12th, we played a concert at the beautiful Saxenborg Gård in Trondheim. A video clip from there has now been viewed 914 000 times on SoMe, with nice comments from almost all over the world.

Europe Jazz Network visited Trondheim Jazzfestival

It was really fun to kickstart the Europe Jazz Network's Artistic Exchange Platform meeting where 45 international delegates participated.

Our 3rd anniversary celebration at Ila Brainnstasjon was really nice!

SuperCharger Duo literally set Ila Brainnstasjon fire 2. mai.

And a prankster in the audience sought help from AI to highlight what an enthusiastic audience we have.

Touring Eastern Norway

We've finally got our bearings after an incredibly nice trip to Eastern Norway. We started on Friday, April 10th at Kristin and Shane Matheson's in Galleri Festiviteten at Eidsvoll Verk. Super nice hosting in a beautiful venue, and with a great audience. I wonder if Stian Carstensen's introductory post before the concert was a significant help??

Good atmosphere down the Østerdalen. No dangerous animals on the road.

Shane Matheson, very nice host at Galleri Festiviteten. In the picture below we say goodbye to Shane and Mrs. Kristin outside the beautiful Festiviteten venue. Below there are some really nice local musicians named Max Lammers, Ronny Myhrer and Tormod Berg.

The next day we drove to Sarpsborg Jazzklubb and visited the club for the second time. Here the always positive Dagfinn Kristensen welcomed us in the best possible way, created good sound and the audience created a great atmosphere. It was extra fun that (relatively) new arrival phenomenal Cliff Isaksen joined in for a couple of songs.

And Eirik's mother Mette and Tor Anders are some of our most loyal fans.

Lancelot and Asker Jazz Club welcomed us on Thursday, April 16th.

Oslo's best club scene, Herr Nilsen was the next stop. A crowd of friends, acquaintances and family showed up and made for an unforgettable evening.

On Friday the 17th we did a school concert at Greveskogen High School, where Eirik was a student. It was really nice to meet the students and teachers there.

Afterwards we headed to the Viken College of Music where we met lots of wonderful and dedicated young people. We played a concert and had a great workshop.

Drummers are friends all over the world. In the photo: Ernst Wiggo with drum students Nicholas Mecham, Laurits Aas Bøe and Filip Trondal.

All in all, a wonderful tour and if we are to interpret the audience's feedback, they will recommend SuperCharger Duo to friends and concert organizers.

Heard after the concert Galleri Festiviten: "You should have played in Oslo Concert Hall".

"This is the best concert I've heard – today!"

Vossa Jazz

On March 27th, SuperCharger Duo visited Vossa Jazz for the first time. We played to a dance party in the piano bar at the legendary Park Hotel. There was good food and a great atmosphere. In short, a little adventure.

It was exactly 46 years since the duo's drummer played at Vossa Jazz for the first time, at that time with Thorgeir Stubø, guitar, Terje Bjørklund, piano, Dag Einar Aasen, bass and guest Svein-Erik Gaardvik (congas).

The new festival director Frøydis Århus successfully landed the festival. Congratulations and good luck in the future.

In the north:

From March 4-8, we did a nice tour from Ballangen in the south to Alta in the north, with stops in Narvik and Tromsø as well. It was a real adventure, with an overwhelming response from the public of all ages.

Nice post from KonsertPuls in Alta

Anticipatory audience in Narvik

It is always moving to play for the elderly, this time at Ballangen nursing and retirement home.

On the way home from Tromsø after a wonderful tour.

Incredibly nice post after the concert at Narvik Jazzklubb/Narvik Kulturhus. Thank you very much, Torbjørn Engan.

The 2026 Winter Festival Week in Narvik is being prepared with humor.

Many thanks to Scene Nord for making the tour possible!

Great atmosphere with the accompaniment of Hjelmeland Storband, from left Anders Smith, Tore Bakken, Istvan Horvath and Ståle Strømsvold.

In Stavanger we met old acquaintances, Gro and Tor.

Great fun in Bjørgvin!

As mentioned on our Facebook profile: We think that the same as the pleasant evening at MadamFelle under the direction of Bjørgvin Bluesklubb can not be imagined, last Wednesday. The club has everything in order and the audience was fantastic. Today there is a seminar with Hjelmeland Storband and a concert in Løa in Tønnevik. Tomorrow a "drummer meeting" and a concert at BlygeHarry in Stavanger. This is called a trip!

Drummer meeting in Fosnavåg

In many places around the country, drummers and drum teachers are emerging who have a relationship with the book "Hvordan spille moderne trommesett" av Ernst Wiggo.

In Fosnavåg, super enthusiast and drum teacher Bertil E. Tødenes appeared with current and former students.

In the picture, Bertil, Anders Hammer Rekdal, Ernst Wiggo and Stig Arve Slettestøl are seen.

And Bertil wrote a post on social media, which was also published in the local newspaper Vestlandsnytt.

Thank you very much. It doesn't get any nicer!
